Omg, so the writers did go the route where Nimue is Merlin's first love and the first dark one. I'd like to say I didn't see this one coming, but I read somebody's Facebook comment foreshadowing this exact scenario a couple days before the episode aired, so I got a little sneak peak of the episode I guess? Well, this seems like a sign telling me that I should stop reading the comments to avoid spoilers (even if some comments are just theories and speculation). Nah, who am I kidding? I love reading the comments!!!!

Well, one thing wrong with this episode is that there's too much backstory and not enough present-day. I mean, I love a good backstory as much as the next person, but I want a mix of both backstory and present-day in one. Y'know, equal proportions!
