Yay, two episodes in one day! At first I thought they did that because this was a winter finale or something, but good thing it's not. So the first part was where all the answers were at. Answers mainly concerning Emma.
So Emma becomes a true dark one because Hook almost dies? And Hook becomes a dark one because he's tethered to Excalibur? That makes absolutely no sense at all. Right? Why did Merlin have to disappear too? But more importantly, I don't understand how Hook became a second dark one just by being tethered to Excalibur. Merlin was tethered to Excalibur, but he didn't become a dark one. So why does Hook? Maybe I'm missing something.
Well, despite my confusion, there is something I do understand: Hook wants Emma dead. Oh no!
Okay, now let's move onto the second part. It was basically a continuation of what happened in the Enchanted Forest after Arthur and Zelena escaped in the first part. You could also call it Merida's plot line. It was good, but it wasn't what I was expecting. The writers drop a bomb on us in the first part and pretend it never happens by giving us this filler episode. I mean, don't get me wrong. Merida's backstory was entertaining to watch, but I what I really wanted to know was what Hook and Zelena were going to do to Emma.
Oh well, we'll just have to wait another week!
