Finally, they say Clark's name!!! Well, kind of. I don't know why, but Kara really doesn't like saying his name, and it really bothers me!! She always refers to him as "my cousin," and it's a mouthful!! Just say "Clark" next time, okay?
And is it just me or is Kara really naive? I really hate that about her character!! And she's too dorky—like optimistically dorky. And NOT in a good way. A bad kind of dorky. I think she needs to be more confident and just plain cool because right now, I'm not really loving Melissa Benoist's portrayal of Supergirl. Especially when I compare it to Smallville's Supergirl. Now she is what I call Supergirl!!! Y'know, now that I think about it, maybe I just don't like Melissa Benoist's acting in general. Because she was in Glee before, and she wasn't exactly my favorite in there either. In fact she played a character with a similar personality as Supergirl. And newsflash! I didn't like her in Glee either. I hate to say it, but I think Melissa Benoist ruins Supergirl with her portrayal. She makes Kara seems so uninteresting and weak, and Supergirl shouldn't be uninteresting and weak. But I don't know, that's just me.
I also really don't like how Cat Grant couldn't recognize her. I mean, are people that dumb?? Kara looks exactly the same except her glasses are off!!! SO I DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW PEOPLE CAN'T RECOGNIZE HER. I mean, she doesn't even wear a mask, so her face is out in the open!!
However, despite all the negative aspects, this show is still kind of enjoyable. But that's probably because I like superheroes in general!
