I never thought this day would come, but Patty is officially GONE! That's right, guys—Patty leaves Central City in this episode! However, she doesn't leave without being annoying one last time.

Patty figures out Barry's the Flash and indirectly confronts Joe about it. Obviously, Joe plays it off, but I know and Joe knows and now, Patty knows that Barry is actually the Flash. I've said it a million times before, and I will continue to say it a million times more, but I really hate curious people like Patty who tries to disrupt the natural order of things by figuring our what secret the MC is hiding. Seriously, it's a secret for a reason!

Well, anyway, after Patty has her little "I know Barry is the Flash" talk with Joe, she goes and confronts Barry about it. Okay, "confront" isn't the right word. Patty just goes to Barry or rather it's actually Barry who goes to Patty, and they talk about how Patty thinks Barry is the Flash. Barry, of course, denies the fact that he is the Flash, but then Patty had to go and say that if Barry admits that he's the Flash, then she'll stay in Central City and not go to CSI school. You probably can imagine my reaction. I don't want Patty to stay; I want her to leave! Thank god, Barry still denies that he's the Flash. Bye-bye, Patty—or so I thought.

Once Patty left trying to choke back her tears, I thought that was the last time we were ever going to see her again. Right? Wrong. Later in the episode, Patty calls Barry from her train telling him that there's a bomb on the train that she's on. It's so obvious that there isn't a bomb on the train. Patty was so freaking calm when she called him. It was just a ploy to get Barry to reveal his identity as the Flash, and he did. Well, who cares if Patty knows now. Hopefully, we'll never have to see Patty Spivot ever again!

Enough about this Patty business, let's talk about some other parts of the episode. I really like this episode because it involves time travel and time paradoxes, and I just LOVE it because it's so interesting even though it's a little hard to wrap your head around.

The Reverse-Flash aka Eobard Thawne is back! I know what you're thinking—"What? I thought he died!" Well, this Reverse-Flash didn't travel back in time to kill Barry's mom yet. This is, in fact, his first time time-traveling back into the past, and this is also when he learns about Barry, making this the Reverse-Flash's origin story. It's actually really cool if you think about it. Barry sends Eobard back into the future in order for Eobard to time travel back into the past to kill Barry's mom and well, you know what happens after that—the whole Eobard assumes Dr. Wells' life after he kills the real Dr. Wells thing. The concept of time travel and paradoxes just goes full circle, and it's just SO fascinating.

Don't you think it's so cool?!
