Aww, Simon!
You can't help but feel bad for the guy. He's in love with Clary, but Clary definitely only thinks of him as her best friend. She's always going off to Jace, leaving Simon behind, although I'm not complaining. I love Jace and Clary together! Simon should accept the fact that Clary will never see him as more than just friends. I think he should go out with Maureen instead.
While I'm on the subject of Simon, I can't not mention the fact that he might be a vampire?!
Well, anyway, enough about Simon—this episode is really entertaining with a couple of laughs here and there, especially because of Magnus Bane. The guy's hilarious, and he certainly seems to have taken a liking to Alec.
But plot twist! Alec's heart belongs to someone else: Jace. Before I knew it, "Aww, Simon" turned into "Aww, Alec"! That scene with the memory demon was pretty crazy. I really wanted to know who Jace loves the most. Clary?! But we couldn't find out since Alec broke the bond. Technically, we don't even know if Alec likes Jace in that way. For all we know, Alec could just love Jace as a brother. I mean, they are parabatai. There's really nothing to be embarrassed about. Acutally though, it would explain why Alec dislikes Clary so much. She'd be his love rival in winning Jace's affections!
