I really like how Clary and Alec have some bonding time in this episode because well, we all know Alec doesn't really like Clary all that much. Since he's stuck with her in this episode, he has no choice but to spend time with her.
Things aren't looking so good for Alec and Jace though. #ParabataiProblems
We also find out that Luke is a werewolf!! And of course, it's so obvious that Simon is turning into a vampire. Just look at his newfound abilities!
