Alison is back! Well, not exactly Alison, but Crystal Reed, the actress who plays Alison. In this episode, we learn the story behind the Beast of Gevaudan, and Crystal Reed portrays Alison's ancestor, Marie-Jeanne, in that story.
Long story short, Marie-Jeanne kills the Beast, who just so happens to be her brother.
Now, the question we're all asking...who is the beast NOW? This episode has the answer: Mason. That's right—Mason, Liam's best friend, is the beast! I did not see that coming. It would've been cool if Alison was the beast. That way Crystal Reed could come back permanently.
