If You Like Gilmore Girls…

Show Name: Gilmore Girls (2000-2007)
Genre: Comedy, Drama, Family
Run: 7 seasons (153 episodes)
Running Time: 43 minutes
Network: The WB/The CW

Lorelai Gilmore, a stubbornly independent and sassy single mom, raises her daughter who's also named Lorelai "Rory" Gilmore in the town of Stars Hallow, Connecticut. Lorelai was a high school dropout who ran away from home when she got pregnant at 16 but now owns her own the Dragonfly Inn with her best friend Sookie St. James. Rory is a brilliant, bookish high school student who breaks out of her shell over the course of the show and attends Yale. Together, they make the Gilmore Girls! The show follows Lorelai's and Rory's lives in Stars Hallow as well as Rory's adventures at her prep school Chilton and Yale. It also shows them having two separate lives almost, one in the small town of Stars Hallow and the other in Hartford where they are part of the socialite scene since Lorelai's parents, Emily and Richard, are extremely rich. Throughout, they learn to navigate their daily-life and relationship problems as well as making friendships that will last a lifetime.

Show: What I Like About You
Even though Val and Holly are sisters, Val is that much older than Holly that they sometimes seem like a mother-daughter duo like Lorelai and Rory. This show is funny and very much similar to Gilmore Girls in the romance department too, except it takes place in the Big Apple. Also, this is classic Amanda Bynes, before her rehab days. So, of course, it's great!

Show: Hart of Dixie
Hart of Dixie is about a city doctor who leaves behind her fast moving lifestyle to move to the small town of Bluebell. The Southern ways is a shock to Zoe at first, but how you can resist Bluebell's charm? By that, I mean Wade, Lavon, and all the other great people. If you loved the small town feel of Stars Hallow, watch Hart of Dixie because it'll fill in the gaping hole in your TV schedule and heart! Show: Full House
There's no family like the Tanners. After his wife dies, Danny recruits his brother-in-law, Jesse, and best friend, Joey, to come live with him to raise his three daughters. Sometimes things get hard, but there's nothing these Tanners can't get done together. Full House has this great family vibe that I just absolutely adore.
