Things aren't looking too good this episode. First and most important of all, Jane is starting to mistrust the team. In the beginning, she was all "I can't betray my team," until what happened with Mayfair and Weller.
Apparently, Jane stood up Weller last episode, and even though they both don't want it to be awkward, it seems more awkward than ever. Then, Weller had to kill Charlie, who seemed to have this connection to Jane's past since he kept triggering these flashbacks for her. I agree with Jane that Weller should've just shot him so that he couldn't have hurt her without killing the guy. Charlie was innocent and had no control since ZIP stole all his memories. Think about his mom. She just got him back and now he's officially taken away from her again. Sadness.
Since Jane had such a connection with Charlie and his situation, she was mad at Mayfair for not working harder to keep Charlie with them instead of letting the Army take him away. As a result, now she doesn't trust Mayfair either and is slowly moving her allegiance over to Oscar, who I'm on the fence about.
Once Jane accomplished Oscar's task of switching Mayfair's pen, though, he told her what Orion is but in extremely vague terms, of course. He said something along the lines of "Orion killed you" or something of that sort. We know that Jane was affiliated with them. (Also, Orion reminds me a lot of Chuck.)
At least Weller seems to be on better terms with his father by the end of this episode. His father's situation is so sad. I'm learning about depression and all that jazz in psych right now, and it makes sense why Weller's father wasn't a good one. That isn't an excuse, but now Weller has an explanation for why his father was the way he was. Another good thing that came out of it is that Weller no longer believes that his father was somehow involved or related to Taylor Shaw.
Until next time for updates on Orion.
Enjoy!!!
