Well, this series premiere was okay. Really, I only watched it because it has John Stamos and he's from Full House, which means it's a must-watch.
Anyway, I don't know about you, but Uncle Jesse's, or rather Jimmy Martino's on this show, voice has changed a lot. Sounds weird to me. However, he was pretty good on this show; his bachelor life is exactly what I imagined for Uncle Jesse if he were to have never married Becky. He's even still crazy about gray hairs so it's great to still see some references to his old character. I guess some things never change! Although, he's very metro now.
Also, I thought it was kind of odd how out of nowhere Gerald (Josh Peck) came along wanting a grandfather for his daughter. Like, really? However, YAY for the mixed baby, Edie. Her mother, Vanessa (Christina Milian), should totally let Gerald out of the friendzone so they can be together. You have a baby together, so why not?
I really, really hope that Jimmy and Sara, Gerald's mother, get together! They seem so good together! And it's so cute how Jimmy kept a picture of her in his house even after all those years.
Overall, though, it's not great nor is it terrible, just so-so. The jokes weren't very funny. Also, the plot is kind of a stretch in some ways, but I'll keep watching anyway for John Stamos and for all the other possible Full House guest stars (like this episode, we had Bob Saget (Danny)).
