Woah, this show never ceases to amaze me with the way they twist original fairy tales. So, the dark one's dagger is actually the top part of the Excalibur?? It's ironic because the Excalibur is supposed to be good, but part of it's associated with evil.
Um, Merida though... Her hair is way darker in Brave!!! Well, hey, at least she has a Scottish accent. It's also really great that they incorporated a bunch of stuff from Merida's story too. Like the will-o'-the-wisp and those rock ruins!!!
Omg, it's so weird how Emma calls Snow and Charming "Mom" and "Dad." Snow's all "You're our daughter blah blah blah." It's just SOOOOO weird!!! If I was recently reunited with my birth parents whom I've never met before in my twenty-something years of life, I definitely would NOT start calling them "Mom" and "Dad," especially when I initially met them as Mary-Margaret and David. So yeah, WEIRD.
Okay, so the way Merida left was awkward. So she and Emma are talking about how Emma almost killed her, and then Emma goes and talks to Snow and Charming, and Merida just walks away! Not even a goodbye. I wonder if we're going to see her again.
Speaking of "again," another memory loss arc?? Been there, done that. Did the writers really have to make everyone forget what happened in Camelot?? Seriously! And Emma, omg. She looks way older with her little evil Emma costume. And that's not a good thing. Evil Emma looks weird.
