The title tells all because Melissa McCarthy has confirmed that she will be starring in the Gilmore Girls revival. YAY!
Since the news of the GG revival, there has been much speculation if our beloved Sookie would return to make an appearance. Melissa Mccarthy said herself that she wasn't asked and Amy Sherman-Palladino (the creator) responded that she already had a scene written for Sookie and would include McCarthy if she had the time to stop by the set.
That's because since her days on Gilmore Girls, Melissa McCarthy's career has been on the rise, starring in Bridesmaids, Tammy, Mike and Molly, and in her new movie The Boss.
I was really sad to hear that Sookie probably wasn't returning because she is one of my favorite characters on the show. GG wouldn't be complete without her! Good thing she's coming back.
