Show: Gossip Girl
Even though Gossip Girl (GG) is about Manhattan's rich and wealthy, Veronica Mars (VM) and GG are similar in that they both have lots of teenage drama, boys, and more that make both shows very fun to watch. Also, we all know that it takes some investigative chops for Gossip Girl to uncover all the juicy secrets. And before GG, our beloved Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester) was a rich 09er named Carrie Bishop on VM. What a small world!

Show: Buffy the Vampire Slayer
In order to overcome VM withdrawals, Buffy is  a great show to turn to in order to get over the hump. Rob Thomas (the creator) said VM was partly inspired by Buffy. Thus, they are very much similar in vibe and humor. Also, if you loved the snarkiness and girl power of Veronica Mars herself, you don't need to look too hard because Buffy and she are very alike!

Show: iZombie
Both created by Rob Thomas, VM and iZombie have some similarities. That is, iZombie roughly has the same humor and sarcasm that brought that VM to the next level. However, iZombie is a little bit more on the supernatural side with the undead being involved this time around. This show is about a Liz Moore who was turned into a zombie at a party and now works with a detective to help solve murders. Hmm…detective? That certainly rings a bell or two.
