WOOOOOO!! Season 9 is here!!
The season premiere was so good!! It wasn't a rainbow and unicorns kind of episode (even though there was a wedding) but that's ok considering. Also, there was a bunch of drama!
For one, Penny and Leonard finally got married!! YAY!! This has been nine seasons in the making and I'm glad it finally happened. Other than that, the marrying part wasn't so great. None of their friends were present because watching through a webcam is definitely not the same. Also, it felt like Penny was still hesitant on marrying Leonard. Like NOOOOOO!! Not this again.
Additionally, they pretty much got married on shaky terms since Penny just found that Leonard had kissed another girl while they were still on. It's great that Penny is acting jealous for once, but this means that this is definitely NOT the right time to get married. Now, they're going to have all these marital problems and it's going to suck, because why can't they just be happy together? Is that too much to ask? I think not.
Another thing that was really sad was Shamy (Sheldon and Amy) officially breaking up. I hate that everyone seemed to side with Amy because Sheldon was really broken up about it too. He was going to PROPOSE for God's sake and if you know Sheldon, that's a HUGE step!! Now, he's all mopey and hates love. Poor Sheldon! I hope things get better soon!
Overall, this episode wasn't all that funny. Either than a few laughs from Sheldon, it was pretty sparse. However, it was amusing how Bernadette thought hers and Howard's wedding was better because we all know how competitive (CRAZY) she is. I just love Bernadette!!
Nonetheless, the episode started the season with a BANG! I know there's much more drama to come and I can't wait. It'd be nice if Sheldon was so sad anymore too. But, it'd be even nicer if Stuart stopped being so creepy. Shiver me timbers!!
