This is a very eventful episode. The girls carry out their plan in which Hanna admits to killing Charlotte. Things don't really go well, but when do they ever? Hanna gets captured by A-moji (coined by Caleb) and our MCs get bested.
Ali checks herself into a pysch ward, and get this—her husband Eliot is totally working for the other side. He disguises himself as Wilden, who's supposed to be dead, to make Ali think she's crazy having hallucinations of dead people. Speaking of which, I don't know if that lady who looks like Mrs. D is wearing a mask too, but we do know that she is Ali's aunt, so maybe she just looks like Mrs. D because she's Mrs. D's sister? Well, plot twist. Charlotte and Ali are actually cousins, Elliot is actually Charlotte's lover. It's clear now that he doesn't really love Ali and is just using her for some sick revenge plot.
For all you #Ezria fans, this is your episode. After hearing from Ezra that Jillian loves their book, Aria, overflowing with happiness, initiates a kiss, which Ezra reciprocates, and they sleep together. Sorry, Liam, but it looks like Ezra just stole your girl.
There also that moment between Hanna and Caleb. Han tells Caleb that she's always loved him, and they kiss... What about Spencer?!
Well, actually, Spence might get back together with Toby. The two go on a little mission together at The Radley and find the file that says Charlotte is adopted, and not Ali's real sister.
Overall, this winter finale is pretty decent—very eventful like a good winter finale should be.
P.S. Ali seeing her mom while holding the music box surprised the hell out of me.
